The year was 1994. Bill Clinton was president, grunge was stomping combat-boot footprints on the music scene and Nathan Preston hijacked a city bus and spoke an alien phrase that changed the lives, and minds, of a hundred thousand Americans. While a portion of the population became aggressive, causing crime rates to skyrocket, others became passive, incapable of any violence at all. To worsen things, the aggressive were seeking out the passive, murdering thousands in the first few days alone.

A waitress, a Native American and a comatose man combine forces to sort this out. But they must do so at their own peril. They are being hunted more than all.
